For years, Lucy had a dream of becoming a Textiles Designer due to her fascination with the vibrant colours of nature. Having created many of her own fabrics and worked in the trade, she brought that love of colour, texture and style to her interior consultancy passion for designing peoples’ homes has been a constant driving force behind her aspirations. Lucy is proud to offer her clients valuable advice on the best fabrics and colours to use for their homes.

Since 2008, Lucy has been curating an extensive collection of beautiful fabrics. Not a single one has a cheap polyester texture or shine that plagues so many options on the market. While some of the books in the collection are vivid and striking, others are timeless and elegant. All are incredible quality and finish. And Lucy always tailors her advice to each client’s taste. Lucy will ask you just the right questions to help you know exactly what you want.

Some of Lucy’s go-to fabric houses include Lewis and Lewis, GP J Baker, Baker Lifestyle, Maria Flora, and Filippo Vecher. However, other books like Linwood, James Hare, and Today Interiors have luxurious textures or velvet options that can look incredible.

Regardless of the texture or style, Lucy has every type of fabric covered, from plain to patterned, elegant to unusual.

For those who find it hard to visualise the end product, Lucy can order large sample returns to provide a better idea of colour and design. When it comes to wallpaper, she knows the right one can tie the entire room together, whether you opt for a textured or bold design.
