The consultancy was started in 2008, by Lucy Harding, a textiles expert with a wealth of experience in interior design. Lucy will work with you to create the window dressings you’ve always wanted, and has the design and technical knowledge to take clients through the whole process, from initial ideas to hung curtains or blinds. The Oxford Curtain Consultancy is available to work on projects of any size. Some clients require one pair of curtains, whereas others are redecorating their whole house and need every window dressed. We can help whatever you are after, and for those who don’t know where to start and need some design inspiration, we will gladly assist you. We cater for all styles of room. Modern, traditional or something a bit different – we have something for everyone.
Alongside a wide range of window dressings, we can also help with sourcing accessories for your home. You may want some cushions to match your new curtains, or perhaps some complementary throws. We can even assist with lighting and bespoke furniture to co-ordinate with your scheme. Lucy has many contacts in the interior design world and can source high quality accessories for you. The window dressings we supply are also from first class suppliers and UK made.

We work all around the Benson area, and have a large client base in other Oxfordshire towns and villages, such as Wallingford, Didcot and Watlington. We also work with many businesses in Benson and beyond. So if your commercial building is in need of some new curtains or blinds, or perhaps some different lighting or furniture, we can help. We have worked with hotels, restaurants and offices over the years to update their looks and enhance their interiors.
Our excellent customer service means clients often come back to us to assist them again. Lucy herself will take you through the whole process from consultation to completion of the work, and is available throughout to help. An initial consultation fee of £50 to £100 is charged, depending on the job. This cost will be subtracted from the final total.
